With the little time I have to write, I want to thank you for all of the support that you've given to me. We have been able to find and marry, rescue and baptize families here. The best part about missionary work is finding a family with high goals but many roadblocks and helping them learn how the restored Gospel can help them.
A perfect example of that process is Miguel and Daian. They are a beautiful family given to us as a reference from a member. When we began teaching them, they knew what they wanted (family unity, peace at home, spiritual stability) but were not sure how to achieve it. Shortly after they began applying Gospel teachings and principles in their home, such as family prayer and scripture study, and received many testimonies that helped them overcome difficulties. They put in their part always. They got married; Miguel found work to pay for it which he has now given up to be able to go to church with his wife and son; Daian got baptized and confirmed; now they are waiting anxiously for the Lima temple to open so that they can do ordinances for even more of their family members and extend their eternal family.
I feel humbled to have been a small part of such a great journey in that family, and hope that all are applying these simple principles that form the anchor of our faith.
I love you all!

Weeks 94 & 95- Los Laureles, Chorrillos, Lima, Peru: Here's What's Been Happening
So cambios have come by and I'm still here in Chorrillos! I am now in a trio with Elder Perez and another missionary who's name is Elder Valenzuela. I'm not quite sure if I will be here for the next 6 weeks, but we will keep working hard this cambio.
Thank you all for the prayers! I mentioned before that we were working with three families; we have gone through all kinds of hardships with these families but the good new is that two of them have gotten married and one more will get married today! It has been a serious test of faith, but the outcome is incredible.
One family was worried about financial problems; the husband and lost his work, and the biggest prospect for employment he had been lost as well. Their worry was that if they were to get married, then they would not have money to provide for their baby boy. After they had commented to us all of their difficulties, I felt prompted to smile and tell them that that moment was the perfect chance to put into test their faith. We assured them that all was going to go well, and a few hours later, the husband received a call from a business that needed employees. He found work and was able to pay for his wedding.
Another family was a little bit discouraged as their previous marriage attempts had failed. They were not even started with their papers two days before they were due. We visited them and talked about faith, and how God uses His power in accordance with our faith, or ACTION. We invited them to proceed as though they were going to accomplish getting married so that God would have something in which to help them. The next morning we ran into the husband who was on his way to fill out his papers. He finished all of the paperwork in one day, and they signed and got married on Friday.
Thank you for everything! I will send you all pictures next week!
Read your scriptures, share the Gospel, and go to church!

Week 91- Los Laureles, Chorrillos, Lima, Peru: Really Quickly
So I'm going to write really really quickly.
Everything is going well with Elder Perez. The missionaries here in Chorrillos are doing great, we are all working our butts off everyday trying to find the chosen families. My companion and I have been working with a few of those families; we are currently working with two couples of less active members and their girlfriends, and another couple of two less actives. We are hoping the marry all three of them this 13 of February. Pray for us and for them!
I love and miss you all!

By calling a missionary his "son," Elder Bromley means a missionary that he trained. A "grandson" is a missionary that his "son" trained.
